
About the Journal
Al-Turath Journal of English Language (ATJEL) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research in English language, linguistics, literature, translation, and language education. The journal seeks to promote rigorous academic inquiry and disseminate original scholarship to researchers, academics, educators, translators, and students worldwide.
ATJEL provides immediate and unrestricted access to all published content without subscription, access, or download fees. The journal publishes two issues annually and welcomes high-quality original research articles and review papers covering theoretical and applied linguistics, English literature, translation and interpreting studies, English-language teaching, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, literary criticism, and related fields.
Published by Al-Turath University, ATJEL operates under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits the dissemination and reuse of published content with appropriate attribution. All submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin to support academic integrity and assess originality.
